Luis Royo was born in Olalla, a small town in Teruel (Spain) in 1954. He is one of the most established and well-known fantasy illustrators in the world. Constantly experimenting with colours and textures, looking for forms of expression beyond the bounds of pure illustration. His singular and magical vision, added to his highly technical interpretation of the fantasy world places him firmly as a leading name in the international market of illustration.
